Uhh... I never heard about any hurricane hitting. We are totally fine here... so that's good :)
As for this week, it was pretty normal, but I think I might have knee issues. It keeps randomly hurting throughout the week as we bike or do whatever. I think I will be fine though. God needs me to bike so He will provide a way to keep me biking. We are biking around 40 miles a day in this area right now, so that's pretty insane and might be why my knees are hurting...but ya never know.
It rains like crazy down here! I honestly don't know why it is called the sunshine state. I have been here for 7 months now and I have probably experienced more rain than sun. Yesterday we were on exchanges with the Zone Leaders and we were biking when a torrential downpour hit us super hard. Water was up to the tops of the brakes on my bike... the whole bike ride. Literally, at that point I was swimming on a bike. It's insane!
The work is going well. We just met an awesome husband and wife who we started teaching this week and they are open to learning about the Gospel, so we will see where that goes. That's about all to report on the work for now though. I am trying to make it more interesting for you guys, but its just not working that way right now :P
I kind of want a light saber now! That is super awesome. Did Colin dress up this year? Did anyone dress up? Sounds like Colin and Dad are killing it on the volleyball scene right now. Our zone does a lot of volleyball on P-days here and we just got a new sister this transfer who is super awesome at volleyball, so its been really fun!

Hey!!
So this week was the best week in the history of ever, pretty much. We got a super sick training, and everyone in the district is going crazy finding people to teach. Even our area hit the Standards of Excellence this week, which is super hard to do!! We found so many people this week! They are getting along quite nicely, we just need to make sure they go to church and continue to progress. Sorry I don't keep you super updated on the people I am working with right now, but we cycle through people so fast in this mission because of how we do the work. It's hard to keep it all together myself sometimes.
The recording I am going to send you is from the highlight of my week. It was a super awesome lesson. We just kept saying "wow" the entire night after that.
We are totally going to Miami on Wednesday for a specialized training!! I am so excited to go to Miami, even if it is just for a day, hah! Then on Sunday is stake conference and that is all the way up in Ft. Myers, which is a ways away as well. Should be fun.
I am learning so much stuff here. Honestly, I don't know if I had a testimony before my mission. Like I never really knew the church was true until I got on my mission and realized the significance of it all. The gospel is so important and I never even realized it. It's insane how it has opened my eyes!
This zone is super awesome and I love this district. It is a tiny district, but I love everyone in it. Especially being a District Leader and being able to communicate with everyone more, it helps build so much more trust. This week in the district we did so flipping awesome! We tripled last week's actual for New Investigators and almost hit the Zone goal on our own! Mind blowing!! Blammm. I really hope I stay District Leader here and that the district stays really similar but I have no idea what will happen at transfers. There are a whole bunch of greenies [new Elders and Sisters] coming in this next transfer and they need people to train them. Who knows, I might even train.
Anyways...that's my week in a nut shell. Love you all.
