Hey Mom,
A quick update on transfer status, as it has really been an interesting and abnormal one. I am currently sitting at one of the mission laptops in the office, typing up this report to you :) It was a sad day leaving Maidenhead, and seemingly so quickly. Let me tell you the story of why I am here.
It's been quite the stressful transfer. I have been called as a Zone Leader in East Grinstead. The Zone I am serving includes all of the Sisters in the London Temple Visitor's centre and the Digital Elders. Elder Blaire (my new companion) and I serve as the logistics head of the mission. Basically, we handle everything that the AP's don't; so, all mission travel, flat upkeep and management, and all of the administration stuff. I've only been here one day and it's possibly been the most busy and difficult day of my mission. It takes a lot to run a mission!
I'm not going to lie, I am really quite scared about this leadership calling. I haven't even been a District Leader yet, how am I supposed to be a Zone Leader? How am I supposed to be a Zone Leader and run a logistics operation? We're about to find out how much the Lord has qualified me...ha.
So, yeah, if you need to send anything to me, send it to the mission office. I'll get it pretty much immediately. I love you tons, I hope that everything is going well with school and such, I only had the quick chance to glance at emails.
I'll give you more updates as to what we do here, and how the missionary work is going, soon.
Love,
Stew
