Hey,
Don't have too much time today so this will be quick.
Yes, everything fit in my bags :) I am here in Naples...more specifically Cypress Grove, where it pretty much is the Utah mountains without the mountains...if that makes sense at all.
[I asked him about the logistics of moving bikes during transfers] During transfers you just put the bikes on the bike rack of the car that you are going to use in your area and just pack everything else in the trunk or back seat. I am working with a ward that meets in a school building here actually. They will get a building eventually, they are just waiting for a license to build it. The ward is full of really young families from Utah who all moved here to go to school at the Anesthesiology college nearby, which is super cool. They are all awesome and really involved in missionary work. We are fed pretty much nightly here and members come out with us maybe four times a week, so that's good too.
My companion is from Canada, Ontario and he has been out for a year and a little bit now. It's great to have a companion with some good experience.
The area is like the country though. We live "in town" and then its about eight miles out to where the houses begin, and even then they are all pretty spread apart. We have to bike from house to house and ride on dirt trails to get to each house.
While in line at a convenience store I realized how small this place really is. It's the only convenience store for probably 15 miles... so everybody stops here and the lines are massive and everybody (literally everybody) in front of me had a big thing of Bud Light in their hands XD Oh man, these crazy southerners.
Well, that's been Naples for me so far. My MTC comp is now in my district, which is sick! I love that guy so much! It is going to be so cool to go on exchanges with him now that we aren't the worst missionaries ever!!
Love,
Elder Foster
