Family, Life is literally crazy right now. We are so busy, I've never been this busy in my life. Even being organized isn't helping, it's just making it look like a bunch of stuff is being pushed back :) Alright, before we get to the craziness, let me explain the ankle. As much as I would like to say I sprained it in that awesome basketball game (which was actually with professional players from Lithuania, haha, we got crushed!), I didn't. I actually fell down |
some stairs, there was a mop, and it was dark, and, well, yeah... haha. It was pretty bad. But, the digital zone is the best place to be when that happens, I guess :)
Also, really quick, I'm not moving! Again! I love Crawley so much, and we're in the middle of a lot of stuff, so I figured that would happen. This also means that it's likely Elder Wright and I will be together for a while, they tend not to move people near Christmas, and that's when the next transfer is, so we'll see :) We're actually really happy about it, we're super effective together, and our teaching is only made stronger by the fact that, together, we have so much scriptural power. It's a bromance, really.
Oh, a member sent this cartoon the other day on Facebook. [see above]. Yeah...you have no idea how true that actually is...
OK! Presentations! We gave a skype fireside the other day for Newton Abbot YSA. It went really well. There was a prophecy made by Elder Nelson about how the work would hasten in England London South. He said that through the YSA, the field would become white, ready to harvest. We are literally doing that now, through the digital work! Fulfillment of prophecy? I think so!
We have about ten firesides coming up, all in this transfer. Some are too far away for us to travel, but anything in London (and really just the east side of England London South) we'll be traveling to. We get to go to London! I'm so excited!!!
This makes our time incredibly scarce, and really just keeps us busy preparing and traveling. I'll be taking my driving test soon, so hopefully by the end of the transfer, I'll be driving the Elders to these events. Road trip!
Oh my goodness, speaking of things I'm really, really happy about: General Conference. I've never been so excited in my life. It's like another Christmas. Living prophets!? I've been preaching about these guys for months, and now I can tell people to tune in tomorrow when they talk to the world! :) So cool.
I got a letter from Center Ward primary, check out the pictures on my travel blog. The church of the lamb, I call it :) Good old primary :)
The ward has been fasting for us, which has been incredible. The work here is booming, and we're seeing miracles every day. We haven't been able to get FongLee and his family to church yet, hopefully with General Conference coming up, we'll be able to watch it together. But just the other day, someone named Paul just walked into the chapel on Sunday, with a less active member who said she wanted to come back to church, and brought a friend. Whaaaaaat? So awesome.
Another miracle: one of Crawley team's professional football players just walked into the chapel. That's right, just walked in. Like right after practice. He asked what the church was all about and we friended him on Facebook right then and there. We're teaching him online now because he travels so much. Sooo awesome :)
Alright, that's probably enough for this crazy week. I could say more, but, there is too much. Oh! Turns out Elder Wright has a recording device, so we recorded a message for you. Hopefully it will send in this email :) I really hope so. I love you all so much. Your prayers are being answered out here. They really do help. Thank you, and keep up the good work back at home.
Cheers,
Elder Foster
