So, some crazy things happened this week. They're funny though. I love being a missionary...you meet the strangest people.
To start out we met a lady while knocking the other day who we said a prayer with and after the prayer she was SOOO excited. She went into how Christ has touched her life and she literally used the words "Man I get so turnt up when I pray, like other people go to the club to get turnt but nah me , I pray and get turnt up!"...which obviously made us excited! She ended up not wanting to go to church, but hey, it was a good experience for her at least...and funny for us. :)
Another crazy thing that happened was we knocked on a door and from the other side all we heard was a massive gun as he cocked back the hammer. Our hearts kinda stopped for a second, and the guy opened the door and he was super nice! Haha. Still had a gun, but he was really kind. He kindly rejected a prayer and we moved on.
Last crazy experience of the week: We were biking down the road and a guy pulls up next to me (I was riding in the back so I was pretty much singled out) and rolls his window down. Of course my first impression is that this guy is gonna yell at me or something, so I brace for that, but then I see him. This massive man in the car dressed up... you guessed it...like a clown!! And in his really deep voice he yells out of the car, "Hey yo! You know where Golden Corral at?" So I tell him its just down the street the other way a bit and then he just says, "Hey thanks boss man!" and really quickly flips a U turn and heads out. So yeah, that happened too.
This week was pretty crazy. I love being in a trio, its actually super fun. It was hard to teach at first but we are getting it down now and our lessons are going smoother :) I had interviews with president this week, which were super awesome, and he gave some sweet feedback on how I can become a better missionary which is always a good thing :)
Got some pictures I will send in a minute. That's about it for the week :)
Love you all,
