Hello,
I will send more photos as I go along. I'll send more today as well. I'm getting my pants fixed by a member, so that will be good. My knee is doing fine now. It hurt the first bit, but is all good again. I know what to do if I am hit by a car :) and black scriptures would be awesome. :D Thank you.
J couldn't come to church this last week because of some issues around his house but he still reallllllyyyyy wants to be baptized so he has been moved to the 26th. S dropped us hard, which sucks, but that's okay. A.M. is the other woman's name and she is dropped too...sad. But my pants are good and I'm good and everything is alright.
We saw an amazing miracle this week. An investigator we dropped last Sunday for not coming to church and not returning calls came back!! His name is T and it really hurt to drop him, but now he is back and doing so great. He was deathly sick and couldn't really do much so that's why he didn't ever respond. He came to church yesterday and loved it and is looking to be baptized on the 26th as well :D So keep him in your prayers to keep him going strong. He is the greatest guy ever. His actual name is E and he is from Puerto Rico (I believe). He has three daughters who live with his ex-wife in New York who he provides for still, working two jobs every single day, one from about 5am-4pm and then the next from 6pm to around 11pm. He is so hard working (but doesn't work Sundays) and loves everybody he talks to. I am so excited to see him get baptized!! I have so much faith he will!! (Elder Adams always makes fun of me because I kinda have a man crush on him, but that's alright...right?)
So keep T and J in your prayers :)
Honestly not much crazy happened this week. Lots of knocking and little finding...which kinda sucked, but that happens.
EVERYBODY here drives such nice cars, its crazy. The most common car I've seen in Florida is probably Camaros. Everybody and their dog has one. I see Teslas and Porches and Jaguars and Audis and I love it. Elder Adams, on the other hand, doesn't like it so much. I probably seem annoying to him every time I point out an awesome car to him...oh well.
OHH...I wanted to tell you all a funny story about Elder Adams promising Specific Blessings! XD This was so funny. We were talking to this guy on the street yesterday and invited him to church and he seemed worried so we explained what we believe and shared some quick restored truths with him and then invited him again. So he asked us if it's just for white people. Elder Adams said the funniest thing ever. "I promise you, sir, if you come to church on Sunday you will see more black people than white people!" We have been training a lot lately about promising blessings to people on the street and I just thought that was an interesting blessing to promise him [practically guaranteed to be true in his current area!] Hahaha. So yeah...fun story for the week :)
Well... I love you all so so so very much and can't wait to hear from you all again.
Love, Elder Foster
P.S After my mission if you guys want to bring me back here that would be nice...or we could go to Jamaica and that would be about the same ;)... just a little cooler. I really want to go to Jamaica after living here :D
