Hello! Coming to the end of my email time, so this one is going to be quick.
This week was tough. Really quite hard on us, mentally and physically. We saw miracles, and felt heartaches. We taught with power, and were reviled. Something that my MTC president said rings true now "you're not succeeding if you're not being reviled!" Haha, yeah...it's crazily true :)
A few stories:
So, we got to give a random chapel tour and met an amazing guy named Luke, who we're now teaching! He really felt the Spirit in the Chapel.
Kerry, one of our recent converts, said something amazing: "You are all so wise, beyond your years." Haha, well, I guess we're doing something right!
That feeling of having worked really hard the entire day, and collapsing at the end has become my favourite one. You know that it was the Lord's mission that day, not yours.
We had 2 DA's in one day! Whaaaaaaaat! THIS IS SPARTA!
There is a recent convert in our ward named Dan. We call him Dan the man because he's a flipping missionary already! I swear, all of our referrals come from this guy!
We did a DA at a family that I love called the Vowels. Imagine 8 children, about 4 are disabled. All under the age of 11. Such a fun DA, those children love the missionaries, and I love them :)
We're setting up a bunch of Firesides all over the London South mission, for digital work, so we'll be travelling kind of everywhere soon. Pretty cool :)
I'm now officially in charge of the Email mission. I make everything that is sent out, you should check it out :) I'll send a forward of it to you!
Man, sorry, I really have to go!!!! The Elders are dragging me away from the computer! ajs;dcpo9 nei i;erkj.............
But really, sometimes it's just hard. But God bears you up. I love you all, thanks for all of your support.
Cheers,
Elder Foster
