Other than being sick and drinking a bunch of tea this week to help my throat out, we went and saw Alfredo and his friend Jean Victor, who we are working with now. We also went and saw a whole bunch of less actives that I have tried to work with before but they've just never budged...and they pretty much all came to church this week! We have a new ward mission leader and he is super amazing about coordinating with the members to get them to actually do work in reactivation, so the ward is helping a whole bunch with all of this and it is working SUPER well. I have been so happy to see all of these people coming back to church. It's just as special to bring God's children back into the fold as it is to bring them in. It is amazing. We also are teaching a lot of their families now and are working on completing their families, which is another super awesome miracle we saw this week.
That's pretty much our week in a nutshell...other than I found out this week what is meant by "Godly sorrow" because of some super awesome people I have met who have blatantly disregarded what they know to be true. I have really been able to sympathize with the Prophets in the scriptures who mourn for the sins of the people. It's crazy that I didn't realize missionary work would involve that so frequently. I also realized that Godly sorrow isn't a bad thing at all... that it is a sign of the Love that you have for the people. I have been in this area for a long time now and I have really come to love the people here to a point where I "water my pillow by night" for their salvation.
That's it for the week. Love you all! Have a good one.
