Mom,
Have had some seriously crazy weeks these past few ones leading up to transfers, which happens to be tomorrow, meaning this is not a real P-day. I'm staying in Witney. I'm beginning to think that I've missed doing something here, and I won't leave until I do it ;)
I'm sitting here with the Kiddlington Elders, as Elder Wright has already been picked up and taken to the Temple for his last few moments of missionary-dom. It was a sad day to see him go, we've been through so much together, and have literally overcome the very gates of hell. He finished with honor, though, and that's what's important to the Lord. Good thing he's only an hour car ride away, for now :)
Sorry about missing emailing last week. I had a very good friend take his life in the mission field...so there were quite a few emails that I had to sort out, as well as quite a bit of pondering to do. I wrote this huge email to you, mother, and then didn't send it, ha. Quite a few testimony shaking moments followed that Monday. Satan knows when we're weak. I'm doing ok, I think my next companion will be helping me instead of the other way around this time. I need to get my head back in the game.
I'll be able to tell you more about what happened this week when we get to P-day (hopefully, but I will be traveling and such to get a new companion). It was a wonderful week, filled with a lot of tender mercies. Also, the pictures I'll send will speak better than my words :)
For now, I need to head, it's getting late here. Got poured on the whole way over here, and was smiling the whole time :) There's something about when it just dumps that brings the people of England together, especially those running to a bus.
Love you,
Elder Foster
