Got the package, it came so quick, got it thursday morning
The work is pretty slow right now. Haven't found too many people so far this transfer, but we are going to change some stuff up and hit this area from a different angle and we know we are going to find people to teach! We know we can find 4 people this month to baptize and have set a very very specific vision for a family we are going to find to meet this goal. It is super awesome that Elder Lee and myself are both so young because we are able to kind of figure out missionary work together now. We are growing so much every day and it's amazing.
This ward is pretty great. The Elders we live with are in the same ward as us but speak Creole so the ward is a bunch of Haitians and then a bunch of white people. We happen to have the wealthiest Mormon in the entire church in our ward too. He is the man who created the Fiber Optic Cable. He is indeed a billionaire...so that's insane! He is currently in Canada, though, because its hot down here and he is old haha ;P
Dang I love my companion. He is like a Samoan me. Like the same person as I am but darker and bigger and from Hawaii...but other than that we are the same person...who probably isn't the Elder Foster you remember. Actually I was just contemplating this today with one of my Zone Leaders, Elder Adams. I don't even remember who I was before my mission. All I remember is that I was really quiet and kept to myself, and now I am not...at all! It's flipping crazy how much a mission can change you if you let it). But yeah, he is super awesome and we get along really well and its funny "Greenie Breaking" him :)
I will send some recordings next week that have some good stories on them. I forgot my recorder at home today, sadly. For now though I will leave you with a Taylor Swift song that has been changed just slightly to make it missionary worthy... try to spot the difference ;D
Love you all!
