Man... WOW... Man... Oh My oh My... Wow... this week was pretty awesome.
First off we found a super elect investigator who is going to be baptized on the 31st of this month. He was a member referral who is just super ready to be baptized. He makes us fresh juice whenever we go over, just loves having us there, loved church and the people there, and just loves everything about the gospel! It is so awesome. He has to go into the doctor this weekend though (to get a shot in his back for sciatic nerve problems) but after that he will go to church next week and get baptized on New Year's Eve day :D
Another awesome thing is that we have been working with this lady named A...and she is totally the BOMB.COM as well! She is really ready to get baptized, its just she barely had surgery. Man, all our investigators have health issues. What's up with that? But that's okay because she should be fine by the end of the month so she can continue to come to church and prepare for baptism too.
I was super worried I would leave these totally awesome people behind when transfers came because I thought I was out of here... but NO! I am staying and training a fresh little missionary here in our little Cypress Creek ward. I am super happy about that, Kinda scared I might mess this missionary's life up...but other than that I'm mostly just excited haha.
So yeah... I am staying in the area and training. Elder Thomas is also staying (and training, too!) so our house will have two greenies in it which is going to be weird. It should be super fun this next transfer though!

Yeah... so this week was super flipping amazing!! We saw the dopest miracle of them all, it was super sick!!
A, our investigator who had a baptism date set for the 31st is actually going to get baptized this weekend!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO HIM!! He wasn't going to be able to make it to church this last week because of a procedure he had to go through on Friday so we set him originally for baptism on the 31st, but nope! We went and visited him right after his surgery and he was totally fine. He said he was going to be able to make it to church and so he did! In order to qualify for baptism you have to be living the commandments for a week before your baptism so we hurried and taught him the Word of Wisdom on Saturday (when we found out he could come on Sunday) and he asked "Well, how long do I have to fast from these things?" "Forever A, you can't drink alcohol or coffee ever again." "Alright... I will start that right now." OH MAN! He is the coolest guy ever! He stopped right then and there and is getting baptized at 11 on Saturday morning and being confirmed on Christmas Day!!!!
He literally is the best person ever! He makes me so happy. I will send pictures of us with him next P-Day but for now just know he is the greatest. He feeds us all the time and makes us smoothies and is just the greatest.
That was about it for the week...other than I am training and my greenie is super cool. Elder Moon. Straight out of Gilbert, Arizona. I have seen him grow so much already!

This week was pretty dang great. To start it all off, last P-day we couldn't go home for a majority of the day because the cops blocked off the entrance into our neighborhood and weren't letting anyone in or out pretty much all day... which was crazy. We enderd up going to a dope zone activity that was a lot of fun where we played volleyball and practiced a song for our Christmas conference, which went super well. Every zone had a song that they had to sing and ours was super good. Not too much crazy happened throughout the week except for A getting baptized. Man, that guy is my favorite person ever. He loves our Heavenly Father so much and is the happiest camper now. He got confirmed on Christmas and the first question he asked was what he can do now to serve in the church...which is literally the greatest thing he could have asked me. He is solid and I love him! The week was pretty chill in the way of missionary work. Had to come home early on Christmas Eve, so we watched the movie The Testaments... in Japanese... and made cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. All was well this week and me and Elder Moon are still getting along dandy. He is making awesome progress as a missionary. I am super proud of him!
Yeah that's pretty much it. I will have more next week.

Not too much happening this week as far as finding people to teach and, ya know, teaching them... but all is well. We have used the time we have been given to the fullest. We had a bunch of trainings and such this week and then we had to come home early on New Year's Eve... so we wouldn't be out with all of the drunk people at night haha. Right now we are just working with a part member family whose little girl who is going to be baptized on the 14th. We tried as hard as we could to get her scheduled before she turned 9 so we wouldn't have to go through all of the lessons with her (would have made things a million times easier) but we are teaching her and her mother all of the lessons and helping her get prepared for that. Other than that we don't have anyone we are working with right now. I have knocked on pretty much every door in my area at this point and am starting to have to reknock areas over again, which I am excited for because then people start to recognize you haha.
Oh something super awesome that we found out this week is that A is going to go to general conference in Utah in April and will be going to the temple to do baptisms and stuff there, as well as general conference! He wants to go to Utah all of the time now. We are really excited for him.
Today we did a sunrise with our greenies. We are about to go have the Dunk Zone Olympic Games for P-Day, which I'm excited for. That is about all for this week.
