Mom,
My week went pretty well. We went to a multi zone conference on Wednesday, which took place on the opposite side of Florida...so we took the hour and forty five minute drive out east. It was really good though, mostly it was hurricane preparedness stuff...so that was exciting. The AP's gave us training on being Bold with those we teach and come in contact with.
Something else that I thought I would mention this week is the clouds.. I know you are probably like "What..?", but they are totally awesome here. Because there are no mountains to block your view you can just see fields and fields of clouds in the sky for a really long ways...and you can pretty easily tell when a storm is approaching (which shouldn't be hard anyways, seeing that in Florida it storms hard every day). They are just gorgeous though.
As for the alligator walk it was super awesome! Saw lots of alligators (pictures coming in a minute) and it was super swampy so we had to walk through quite a few rivers to get further in. Luckily we didn't get eaten by any... so that's good. We are actually going to go biking through it today, I think, with our zone leaders...so that should be an adventure.
As for my studies this week I came across something really interesting that made me laugh. It's in 3 Nephi 19:25 "And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof." And BAM I realized that I am not the whitest thing to ever exist...so that was a pretty funny moment from my studies this last week. Other than that I have been studying a lot on desires and how your desires affect missionary work, which is A LOT. There is a lot of good stuff on that in the scriptures and Preach my Gospel so that helped a lot.
Yeah...that was pretty much my week in a nutshell. We found a lady who had just moved into her new home here who was being taught by missionaries in Kentucky and already has a Book of Mormon. She should be coming to church next week, which is going to be awesome!
Love you all and have a good week.
